Gen. 15:17 An it came to pass, that when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a SMOKING FURNACE, and a BURNING LAMP that passed between THOSE PIECES.
The SMOKING FURNACE AND BURNING LAMP are the G-D OF HEAVEN AND EARTH. The great darkness is what the Watchers and the fallen of heaven, have seeded in the world, to hide and deceive and lie.
